Fits Left or Right / Without Bracket
Willys used two different sun visor brackets during production of Wagons, Trucks, and Delivery models. The early years were chrome plated and have a 3/8 diameter shaft that the sun visor sleeve pivots on. The Later years after 1960-61 also used this larger size shaft.
From 1951 to 1960, the shaft size was 1/4 inch. 680184 fits this size shaft only, please check yours before ordering.
Truck and Delivery cardboard headliners were originally Gray color only
1947 to 1948 Truck & Sedan Delivery were the only years these vehicles were equipped with a fabric headliner
Our reproduction headliners for Trucks & Deliverys are made from a tough ABS material that prevents sagging and has the same crushed grain finish as the door panels. They were originally equipped with cardboard headliners
Windlace
is the cloth-covered cord that forms a seal around the inside of the door frame. It is the first item installed during headliner installation and is fastened to the Tacking Strip. The Windlace color would reflect that of the headliner or in some cases a body color.
Wire-On Welting
staples over the Windlace to hide the staples in the Windlace and/or Headliner – on Station Wagons and 1947-48 Trucks. It is the last item installed during headliner installation.
Tack-strip
fits in the perimeter metal track and is what the Windlace and Wire-0n attach to. It is held in place by small metal ‘bend-over’ tabs.
Headliner Trim Panels
are the short upholstered panels just below the headlining on each of the ‘B’, ‘C’, and ’D’ window posts on Station Wagons
Restoration Tips for Headliners:
