On 1946 to 1951 +/- vehicles, the Filler Neck was soldered directly into the Fuel Tank. If you have an early tank with this one-piece filler neck, cut the neck off and re-use it on the replacement tank. On later vehicles, the Neck was a 2-inch stub soldered into the tank with the remainder of the neck attached using hose #808880. All replacement tanks are designed this way.

For 1947 to 1953 Truck beds with a “tear-drop” hole for the filler neck, there is no replacement rubber seal.

1954 to 1963 Truck beds with a ‘round’ hole in the bed for the Filler Neck are currently the only ones that have replacement seals.
